ORION GWF-- Flashy 2018 black and white Appaloosa X Friesian colt with a tasteful sprinkling of white stars on his big booty!  Orion is by Gateway Farm’s sport type Foundation bred fewspot, Blue Ghostwind TLC out of the full papered FHANA mare, Frederica I.  He is long legged and built uphill with lots of substance, correct legs and that Friesian “look at me” noble stance!  Orion is very masculine and loaded with Friesian character—big round neck, well muscled hindquarters, great bone, and tons of hair!  His sire, Blue Ghostwind is a leggy 16h with lots of suspension and expression in his movement.  His dam, Frederica has stallion like presence and three fantastic gaits!  Orion is very friendly and well handled.  He is light and catty on his feet, has good reach and suspension, and moves naturally balanced and uphill.  With his conformation, movement, and temperament, Orion should do well in any sport horse discipline, but would make a really fancy dressage or driving horse!  And Orion will surely stand out with his exceptional presence and unique coloring!  He is truly special!  $8,500 (until fall 2019).  Currently 15h at 18 months, we expect Orion to mature 16h+.  Another tastefully decorated sport horse offered by Gateway Farm!  For more information call (209) 327-6858 or email us at gatewayfarm@verizon.net.
